Covid and Flu nasal spray vaccines

My 17 year old DD had her second Pfizer vaccine a week ago followed by the flu nasal vaccine a few days later on Friday. On Sunday she came down with a sore throat and cough and today she has a fever.

The nurse who gave her the flu spray said it was more likely than the injection to give side effects so I am hoping it is vaccine related and not covid. She routinely tests every few days for work/school and all LFT’s have been negative (before and after symptoms). She has been for a PCR test today but I’m clutching at straws wondering if it is vaccine related and maybe because she had the two close together? Any thoughts?

Patient information leaflet for fluent tetra:

www.medicines.org.uk/emc/product/3296/pil#gref

Sore throat and cough are not listed

So yes, you do need to rule out covid (other winter viruses are available)
