Anyone else on holiday but can't enjoy it now they are away?

I'm Thailand until the 1st Jan.
Right up until we arrived I was excited.

Now I'm here I'm just sick with worry. I was sick with worry at home too though. I'm so damn sick of covid I just miss enjoying life.

I swear I'm close to a nervous breakdown.

What are you feeling worried about OP?

Just don't go on social media not watch the news until you get back. Have a break from it all!

Try and focus on your immediate environment and physical senses and experiences. Keep active and outdoors and way from screens. Find something light to read. Be kind to yourself. It's hard to instantly adjust and relax on holiday, at the best of times it takes me several days to settle in and let go a bit.

Testing positive out here and being unable to get back.

I think it's the jet lag too and new places are very overwhelming xx

Yes I get that too, anxiety from the change of environment and jet lag. Take it easy.
