This isn’t a goady past btw but I’ve had enough and I’m at breaking point

Just seeing the update that another lockdown is possibly coming on the news and I keep thinking when it will it end.

I’ve had my vaccines, I spent a year isolating as I’m cev and now I’m back at work full time they want to lock down again. I spent my 30th and 31st birthdays isolating and now as im a March baby possibly might be my 32nd one in lockdown too.

I’ve had enough. Im sick of having no life. All I do is work, walk the dog and stay at home currently. I haven’t seen my family either for 2 years as they live in Europe and it’s currently full of covid.

Sorry for the rant I’ve just hit a block today and it’s broken me. If anyone else wants a rant feel free.

Well, friends also. But if I did care about strangers I would be doing some volunteering work or something. What do you do? And what did you do before the pandemic, to care for people you don’t know?

Agree, op and I wouldn’t say the board was full of these posts, it’s completely full of talk about people being not vaccinated, that’s all I’ve read

I get it op , I think those of us with loved ones in other countries often get forgotten about , don’t mean that to sound dramatic there are obviously plenty of people worse off I just mean it’s a situation most people probably aren’t in

So you get told ohh but the pubs / cinemas blah blah whatever we are open but the most important thing we actually want to do is off limits . I’m lucky I just managed a visit abroad after 18 months wait but the thought of more lockdowns and more time part just depresses me
