Online says 28 days but will it really make any difference? I had it very mildly and no lasting side effects.

They will turn you away.

I called the helpline and was told 28 days because it is less effective if you have it earlier. I can't imagine a few days will make a huge difference though if there's a compelling reason for you to have it earlier. I can't have mine until early Jan so going to hold on for now.

No.

It’s a computer says no job-you’ll be turned away.

So they will be able to see on their system?

I was asked name, DOB, which arm. I was 26 days from my positive.

yougottaletmeout · 20/12/2021 10:32

Will they only turn me away if I tell them exact number of days or do they have access to the info themselves?

I went yesterday and she asked if i'd had covid in the last month. I guess you could lie but they must have a good reason for it being 28 days.....

If I go from onset of symptoms it’s more like 26 days since. Just today was by far the best/easiest day for me to get it done and I don’t know whether it’s worth waiting another couple of weeks for the sake of being 2 days out.

They won’t let you. You will be turned away at 26 days. This is not a choice you need to make. You just won’t be allowed.
