Vaccine, sore throat?

Has anyone else had a really sore throat after the vaccine?
For me, it's only on the left side (the side I had injection on) which makes me wonder if it's to do with swollen lymph nodes. It's woken me two nights in a row now it's so painful.
Looking up side effects, sore throat apparently shouldn't be one of them and is a sign you might have covid, but I've tested negative.

You should any negative effects you have from a vaccine

Yes (but more dry) and also negative.

I looked it up on twitter out of curiosity and saw lots of people saying the same.

I actually had this after my booster a couple of weeks ago but assumed I was just getting sore throat but it went away within a few days not on the side of the vaccine though and had a lymph node up

It’s very common to have a sore throat after the flu vaccine, so it’s possible with the covid vaccines, especially if your glands are inflamed in your neck and throat.

I had my booster yesterday and I have a sore throat today, so yes!

Interesting - DH, my sister and I all had a sore throat after booster. We've all tested negative.

Yes I did. Had my Pfizer booster on the 15th and a sore throat came on the following day. I took a PCR just in case but it was negative. The sore throat lasted 4 days. I looked online and saw that a lot of others had said the same thing.

Not wanting to stress you out...but I had my booster a week ago last Sunday, on Tuesday I started getting a sore/achy throat and by Thursday Lateral Flow was Positive.
However, all my family is also testing positive, 4 of us - so incidentally we could have picked it up any where.
