Got a faint line on a lateral flow this afternoon. Had symptoms since Thursday evening and my period is 3 days late x

Any illness can mess your cycle up and I remember reading that lots of women with covid infections had disrupted cycles when there was lots of reporting around the vaccine affecting periods.

Worth testing anyway I guess, and keeping on top of paracetamol if you start getting a fever to keep your temperature down.

When our cycles are interrupted during illness it’s just our bodies way of saying that now is not a good time to get pregnant etc. I haven’t worded that very eloquently but it’s a primitive thing and nothing to worry about. My period was a little bit disrupted during covid but it sorted itself out. Hope you are feeling ok ☺️

I missed a period when I had Covid. Back to normal now.

The vaccines mess with your cycle too. I missed one after my first injection and then had one that lasted 2 weeks so assume the booster may affect them too.
