DH is positive. I'm still negative. Anyone now get covid from living in a household? He isn't isolating himself from me.

Me! (Well, so far, touch wood).

He caught it on his work Xmas party last Friday, TMI but we DTD Saturday and Sunday, he got symptoms on Monday and so far I’m fine. We’re not even particularly isolating from each other.

AgathaMystery · 19/12/2021 20:20

Me! DD spent a week in bed with me when she was +ve and I remained -ve.

NoseringGirl · 19/12/2021 20:22

Me and the kids did! DH had it well over 2 weeks ago now and the rest of us were fine. DH had cold like symptoms and positive LFTs and PCRs. The rest of us didn't develop symptoms and had negative PCRs and still getting negative LFTs now.

MarshaBradyo · 19/12/2021 20:25

I did and dh with Covid positive dc

sleepingdragon · 19/12/2021 20:28

My son had cocud a couple of months ago. He was feeling poorly so spent what felt like hours sitting on my lap each day and slept next to me in bed. I had 2 PCR tests and they were both negative

RosieRoww · 19/12/2021 20:29

My hubby and daughter, I wasn't isolating in one room and still they didn't catch it.

Siameasy · 19/12/2021 20:30

I had it and DH and DD (6 so unjabbed and no boundaries) didn’t get it. I didn’t isolate from them and acted normal

Soontobe60 · 19/12/2021 20:31

My Dh has had it, as has my dd and her husband plus her 2 children, whom I was looking after at the time. I’m a teacher and have taught children who’ve tested +ve, and worked alongside a colleague who also tested +ve. I’ve had a ton of LFTs and done PCR tests when necessary. I’ve had to self isolate 3 times!!!

ScrambledSmegs · 19/12/2021 20:32

DD1 got Covid and the rest of us stayed negative. You can't realistically isolate primary school age children from the rest of the household so we all isolated together and no one else tested positive or had the slightest symptoms of Covid. Bizarre!

herecomesthsun · 19/12/2021 20:33

DD tested postive on the 13th. No one else has tested positive or had symptoms, fingers crossed.

whiteonesugar · 19/12/2021 20:34

Me! DH and DS (6) both had it, DH isolated for a week upstairs, but when DS tested positive we stopped that. But myself and DS (2) didn’t get it.

Nidan2Sandan · 19/12/2021 20:35

I had covid, shared bed with DH, still hung with 3 kids. None of them got it.

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 19/12/2021 20:39

Sister positive - niece not
Brother and Nephew positive - SIL not
SIL positive - 2 children and BIL not
Same family above 9 months later - new baby and 12 year old positive , 17 year old and BIL

MummyMe87 · 19/12/2021 20:39

I’ve had it three times, neither my OH or two DS has had it. I didn’t isolate from them at all.

FreakinFrankNFurter · 19/12/2021 20:41

DH had covid but DS and i avoided it

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 19/12/2021 20:43

My Ds has just had it... 7 of us in the house, all just carried in as normal whilst isolating in the house, shared a bed had couch cuddles, shared a drink! Everyone else negative! We've just came out of isolation! He was symptom free when we got the results then later developed a cough which he still has. No other symptoms

zen1 · 19/12/2021 20:45

DH and kids had it a couple of months ago. Didn’t do any isolating of anyone or any disinfecting and DH and I still shared a bed where he coughed continually for 5 nights. I could feel his breath on my face the night he developed the cough. Didn’t get it and haven’t knowingly had it.

WeeHaggisFace · 19/12/2021 20:46

Neither DH or me caught it from the DC when they had it. We didn't distance and I shared a bed with one for a few nights

Jasharps · 19/12/2021 20:47

We're a family of 6. We've had one of the kids positive on 2 occasions, both times the remaining 5 of us didn't catch. We didnt isolate them from is and both times neither child's roommate caught it

scrivette · 19/12/2021 20:47

DC1 had it and. I one else caught it and DC3 had it a few months later and no one caught it.

scrivette · 19/12/2021 20:48

'No one'

sparklecrazy · 19/12/2021 20:49

Me and two DC positive. DH remained negative despite not changing the way we lived in household at all.

user1496146479 · 19/12/2021 20:49

DS1 aged 11. The rest of us, DH and three other younger children, didn't catch Covid. We also didn't self isolate from him
