Likelihood of testing positive?

Hi, I had my nephew round on Wednesday evening, my children were playing with him etc. on Friday morning he had a very faint positive LFT then positive PCR today. What is the likelihood that me/my children may have caught it? We're doing daily LFT's which are all negative so far.. but I just wanted to prepare incase all our Christmas plans this week may have to be cancelled 😞😞 Thanks!

It is possible

47.236% likely

OP I know you want answers but there are none. Hopefully it will be fine, but some many variables it’s impossible to say.

It’s so hit and miss, I was out for dinner with colleagues on Wednesday, two have just tested positive but I’m ok so far.
It’s best to have a plan B just in case though.

I know, our household hasn't had it yet so it's typical that we've been in close contact so close to Christmas! It is what it is, nothing can be done now so I'll just have to keep my fingers and toes crossed! 😖 thanks x

I hate being in limbo, I'm so impatient 😂 it's the not knowing that is bugging me most. If one of us tested positive at least I could arrange other things we could do, cancel activities, arrange to see family towards New Year etc! Will be keeping everything crossed we stay negative! X
