Are you going to routine appointments at the moment?

I have been going to all my/the dc’s regular appointments for months now and not thought much of it.

However I have a routine mammogram on Thursday and wondering if I should cancel or postpone given the warning I have just read that there will be a ‘tsunami’ of omicron cases in the next fortnight in my area. I obviously don’t want to risk being ill over Christmas with teenage dc and elderly parents reliant on me.

As I’m writing I am thinking I should cancel and rearrange!

This is derailing the thread - they would naturally have diagnostic tests but not at a mobile unit .

I’d go for the mammogram. But then I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year so it’s important for me!

I am postponing some appointments, but they’re not for cancer screening. They’re ones that can safely wait.
