Experiences of booster after recent covid

DH has a booster jab booked for day 28 after a positive test (by the positive, we think this was day 2 of the whole period which was about 11 days).

The case was mild but with some unpleasant and more serious effects on blood pressure and heart rate early on. I'm worried about the close timing to the real virus.

Earlier 2 jabs were AZ-AZ in early summer and he had a day in bed with fevers and chills etc. both times (not normal for him).

Has anyone already had the booster 28-30 days after covid, and how was it in terms of effects/reactions?

Can't say. We will face this in a few weeks ourselves. But if you can report back that would be nice! 😀

Also depending where you are, I think the booster is Pfizer which seems to have less reactions for what its worth.

I had a moderna booster 32 days after testing positive. I felt absolutely fine afterwards, just a sore arm and slightly more tired than usual that evening so I had an early night. DH was the same (30 days after his positive). I had been a bit nervous to have it and initially planned to leave a longer gap but with omicron numbers shooting up I decided to just get it done.
I had AZ for my primary course and had 48 hours feeling a bit crap each time.
I felt awful when I had covid! I managed at home but I was very ill.

Yes my friend just had hers exactly 30 days after Covid and she felt poorly for around 2 days (aches shivers). She had pzifer booster and AZ first two times round.

My DP is the same (pzifer booster, AZ previously) he’s around 3 months post Covid but currently sleeping in after going to bed at 8pm yesterday with similar symptoms!!

I had AZ-AZ and then Pfizer as the booster on day 30 after my positive test. I had absolutely no side effects for the first two, I had my booster on the Thursday evening then went to work on Friday. The morning was ok but I felt awful in the afternoon. Nearly to the point of calling my husband to drive me home and ditching the car for the weekend. It only lasted 6-8 hours though and then was fine. When people IRL have asked me, I've said go for it but make sure you have a quiet day planned the next day so you can rest if needed!

Thanks all (sorry for delay). It's due around NYE so if he doesn't delay till just afterwards I will report back.
