Are antigen tests less painful than PCR?

Getting an antigen test done tomorrow, I find PCRs painful. Any experiences?

Yeah I discussed this with a woman who did mine in the UK who said I wasnt the only one reporting this. In the uk they give you this tender wipe around the nostrils and in france they are fucking ramming it up there, it pisses me off

Between my two sons, we are veterans of three operations so far this pandemic ( 1 emergency and two elective each entailing two sets of pcr's for myself as the accompanying adult and the respective son) ) and several pcr's required because one of my three dc's had been a close contact of a positive test at secondary. If the person gives to insert the swab themselves I just firmly say that we would prefer to insert the swab ourselves thank you.
