If your DC had temp with covid how long did it last?

DD(6) is on day 6 of covid and still has a high temperature. Feel like it will never go back to normal. She just lies on the sofa and is barely eating. I feel so sorry for her. Really expected her to be on the mend by now after hearing how mild and short lived it is in kids Did anyone else's DC suffer with a high temperature for this long?

4 kids had it. 3 mild. One lasted 5 days solid temperature, 40.3 at times and she could hardly stand (age 11). She’s never been as unwell (but is very healthy). Cough for 2-3 weeks after.
