If your first two vaccines were AstraZeneca how were you with the Pfizer booster?

Any reactions or were you generally fine?
Have a worried and anxious family member who is scared about mixing the vaccines so just trying to get a general outlook on how you were TIA

I had two AZ with no side effects at all, but felt rough for about a week after my Pfizer booster - aching limbs and extreme tiredness

EenyMeenyMinyNo · 17/12/2021 10:35

I was fine for 24 hours, then started to feel a bit hot/ cold & a bit ropey. Went to bed at 8pm, slept 9 hours - and fine next day.
Anecdotal I know - but my vaccinator told me to let my arm flop extremely relaxed & low by my side and I had no sore arm at all - worth a try!!!

Tired and lacklustre for 24 hours but otherwise fine.

A tiny bruise when the booster was injected and nothing else.

A couple of days after my first AZ I felt 'fluey' and tired but so did my carer, he's had a different vaccine 2 weeks earlier so I think it was just a bug, if we'd had the same jab at the same time I would be attributing it to the vaccine.

My husband had a sore armpit...which I told him was, possibly, the plague.

A mean streak by name...😉

Sore arm but nothing else (same for my husband). A relief after the severe headaches from my first AZ vaccination

Bluntness100 · 17/12/2021 11:14

Nothing here, slightly sore on the injection site to touch but that’s it.
