Children's vaccine passports

I've just seen this question asked:
Once vaccines are offered to children under 12, is there a chance that going to school/activities will need a vaccine passport?

I'm really concerned about this if it's the case.

It’s being reported in the media that children from 5 upwards will now require passports for restaurants and other things as the UK appear to be following other countries introducing these draconian measures I wouldn’t be surprised if we see the same here in a few months.

By the time this is introduced the population will have been conditioned to the point of not seeing a problem with it.

I honestly wish there would be but when you see how conditioned people have become to ideas such as mandated vaccines and restrictions on every day life I’m not so sure there will be.

Some of the responses on threads on these boards are unbelievable.

There are probably others like me, CEV & happy to have the vaccine myself, but questioning the benefits of kids having it. At least I hope so.

Unhelpful post - you seem to be anti any kind of coronavirus suppression meaures.

I am not sure why you would be anti a COVID passport that allows for alternatives to vaccination including a previous infection or a negative test that is free to access.

This is what is being required for over 18s, nothing mentioned for 12-15 yos, children haven't even been offered the vaccine yet so yet again your post is full of hyperbole.

It's nothing to do with "conditioning", it's that we're facing an unprecented surge of cases, of which the outcomes are unpredictable. Suppression measures are needed now in order to mitiage worse case scenarios (i.e., an uncontrolled pandemic & harsher restrictions).

The UK is not mandating vaccines for anyone. The only requirement right now is that you have them for some occupations.

For the passports, alternatives such as a previous infection or a free LFT are available. I'm not really sure how much more of a compromise it could be.

Poster asked if child passports were a possibility, if other countries are anything to go by, yes they are.

You keep attempting personal attacks instead of actually engaging? It's really bizzare! You seem to do it with many other posters too, when you realise you're not able to logically reply to them.

Again, I find it really odd you resort to personal attacks.

If there are coronavirus suppression policies that you are pro, then by all means mention them, but I've never seen a post from your username (or others like yours) which says as such.

I'll repeat again, I have only ever seen you post against various coronavirus suppression policies.

If there are policies that you are pro, by all means say.

I cannot provide evidence for something that doesn't exist.

I find this prospect extremely alarming.

Happy had 2 jabs and a booster, but the cost benefit/analysis is very different for kids.

We do not have mandatory vaccination for anyone. It is required for certain occupations.

We currently have a COVID status passport for adults that allows for a previous infection or a negative LFT free of charge. Children aren't even being offered vaccination yet.

Where’s your evidence it won’t? I seem to remember the government lying through their teeth for months about there being no plans for vaccine passports.

Removal of LFT option is just another announcement away.
