My DS is 13.. He had covid in Sept so can only now have vaccine.
I was originally reluctant for him to have as independent advice didn't seem to show great advantage for him overall. Then he got it anyway and was fine.
However, considering recent covid levels, I have booked a slot for weekend but just found out he could be given moderna jab rather than Pfizer.. This has made me irrationally anxious after getting my head round minuscule risk for teenage boys from vaccine .. Think because DH & I were fine with Pfizer so thought he would be, and everyone who I know that had moderna seems to have been sick for a day or so.
So does anyone have any reassurance for me preferably from UK about moderna vs Pfizer for this age group of boys.
