Booster for people who can't have Pfizer or Moderna

Does anybody know what people who were advised against the mRNA vaccines are having for their booster? Is there any data that having AZ as a booster offers some protection against Omicron?
Otherwise it's looking pretty crap for these people

The original plan before omicron was for them to have AZ. I presume that is still the plan as it will still boost antibodies. It might be hard to find somewhere giving it though. It's not ideal but I'm not sure there is any choice.

Thank you. I guess the question now is are there any data on how much (if at all) an AZ booster protects against Omicron. Seeing as two jabs of AZ are a lot less effective against Omicron than two jabs of AZ

It's confusing: has someone who has just had a second AZ jab have low protection against Omicron or is it just people who had their second months ago. Is recently having your second jab the same as a booster. Ie is it the number of jabs that's important or the length of time since your last one?

(I hate the word jab but it's quicker to type than vaccination 😂)
