Vaccine appointment when unwell

DH was due to have his booster today. Yesterday he came down with flu like symptoms. Negative LFT and I am going to book PCR later. He's still asleep.

I can't get get on the booking website to cancel and will obviously need to rebook. I hate not being able to cancel it but there is no way to get through.

Does anyone know if you can rebook if you haven't turned up for an appointment? Will it just think he has had it?
Assume this is going to be hard to get another appointment due to it now being open to all adults.

Have you tried ringing 119?

Just a long hold unfortunately and I'm due on a works call shortly so will have to hang up. Not sure if they will take it from me as obviously not him anyway. I'll try again later I guess but it will be after his appointment time.

They could definitely do with a separate cancellation line for all concerned.

I didn’t attend when pregnant, didn’t cancel, just didn’t go. When baby arrived I booked online. When I went for it they asked me why I didn’t attend the first time

My Son wasn’t well on the day of his vaccine, he rang 119 and they told him you can’t cancel on the day, but to rebook it when he felt better. He rebooked it on the website and got it a few days later.
