Faint line above control on LFT

Morning,

Just did a LFT and can see a very faint line above the control line, has anyone else had this happen before ? Never noticed it before on all the other LFT's that I have done.

It's just where the dye hasn't gone all the way up.

I agree with @Tinysnickers. I think inside the test there is probably a strip of test paper stuck to something else inside and you’re seeing the edge. I think that’s a cause of some difficulties reading the test when you spot the other end next to the ‘T’.

Ah ok, thanks for that, I know there is an absorption pad at the top, so maybe that's it. I was concerned maybe it was I settled the wrong way, once I have finished my cuppa I will do another one just to be sure from a different pack.

Try to keep the test as flat as possible. I’ve noticed my smudgiest tests are the ones I’ve messed about with or moved.
