Travelling abroad. On Wednesday. Do you think countries will close borders to British travellers

Due to take our 2 children to Lapland in Finland on Wednesday. Tour operator have already said the trip is planned to go ahead we either go or lose money. (About 4.5k)

Do ppl think Finland/the EU may now stop British travellers?

I'm not sure why you think they would do this? The new variant has been found in other EU countries - and once there will spread . I don't know if you have read information I haven't, or if you are just anxious.

Hope not. We are flying to Finland on 20th to see our son who we haven't seen for such a long time.

I don't think it's out of the question, but I don't think it will be yet, and I don't think it will be a sudden, blanket closing of borders.
Individual countries will evaluate individually, and may bring in restrictions like 2g certs or quarantine first.
