If there is still uncertainty about how dangerous Omicron could be, will the clinically extremely vulnerable have to shield again?

Four of us in my household are clinically extremely vulnerable but all double vaccinated and now thankfully boosted. But I’ve just read that the threat level is increasing to 4 and I’m wondering if the CEV will have to shield again?

I've just come on to start a similar thread. I'm jabbed and boosted and now feeling worried again. We seem to have been forgotten about as usual. Although you never know, we might get a mention tonight.

I'm wondering too. Maybe not the whole CEV group, just those eligible for the third primary dose perhaps?
But I'll still have to send ds to primary school even so.

It’s really worrying. I caught Covid and was in hospital twice. Now have long Covid and definitely don’t want to get it again. I’m also really scared for DCs who have different health problems but the stakes are high for them if they caught it.
You’re right mulder we are forgotten about once again and have to make our own decisions but schools/employers will expect the CEV in unless government says we should shield.
