Hi all, I am 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I am on my 6th pregnancy after 5 missed miscarriages and one early delivery at 22 weeks, a baby boy that only lived for a few minutes. I am wondering if it is too early for me to get the Covid Booster?
My gynecologist says to get it but my fertility doctor says to consider waiting till 12 weeks. Can you please offer any advise that you were given in the early stages of pregnancy?

I just got my booster today. I’m TTC right now but mid cycle and so too early to do a test. I decided to get the jab and so far I have had no ill effects. I was really worried but I don’t want to be vulnerable to covid either, especially during pregnancy. If it makes you feel better then maybe wait for after 12 week scan? But as I said I got it today and I might be at the implantation stage. X

Hi @Fiomeara what did you decide to do? I’ve also just found out I’m pregnant and due to have the booster on thursday. Not sure whether to go ahead or wait….

I'm mid IVF and my clinic told me to get it.

It sounds like you've been through a hell of a lot x

Hey Rrrob,
I spoke to my GP also and she said that the medical advice says that the booster is safe,

at any stages of the of pregnancy, but if it was her and she was in the early stages of pregnancy that, she would wait the 12 weeks and that she would keep her contacts minimal.
I also contacted a doctor friend of mine, who said exactly what my GP said.
I am not eligible for the booster anyway, because it is not yet available for pregnant women, but that should change very soon.
In the end I have decided to have a very quiet Christmas and wait the 12 weeks.
I have my 1st scan next Wednesday in the maturity hospital, when I will be 6 weeks, so fingers crossed.

Hi! I'm 5 weeks on Monday and I'm due to get my booster. Personally I'm going to wait till I'm at the 12 week mark just to be safe. Both my sisters were fully vaccinated whilst pregnant but both got it in their 3rd trimester. Just going to wait till that first trimester is over with all the important growing going on, puts my mind at ease 🙂 xx
