Sore throat, ear ache and a horrible cough.. anyone else?

Has anyone else been suffering? I have no tonsils but my throat is killing me. I’m struggling to swallow, everytime I do it sends a pain into my ear. It hurts so much. It’s quite white on the side where it hurts. I feel majorly run down. Iv also had an horrific cough that I can’t get rid of😩

Just got over this, but wasn't covid tested 3 times. Started with a sore throat that gradually got worse over a few days. Then really bad with a bit of a chesty cough, headache and blocked nose for almost a week and now just got really blocked ears and still a bit of a cough. I was given antibiotics, I also took an antihistamine, vitamins and lemsips every day, along with ibuprofen at night when sleeping and water next to my bed.

Dreading bedtime. The dry cough is soooo debilitating. Also lost my voice so making oneself understood is exhausting.

Excuse me if I am being thick but you've posted this on the COVID bored, so you've tested positive for COVID yes?

The throat sounds like tonsillitis. Can you get someone to fetch you some throat numbing spray - chemists sell it? Salt water gargling may also help. If you get to the point that you cznt swallow saliva you need medical attention urgently.

If you havent tested positive then speak to your gp, you may need antibiotics.

Yes me! but tested negative for covid. Also my dd has been awful with this. She also tested negative. Weird.

It’s not weird. Other bugs exist still, just like they did before Covid.

I’ve got this now, it’s horrible Currently sat up in bed trying to stop coughing.
I don’t think it’s Covid though! Two negative LFT and a PCR booked for tomorrow so we will see.

Me, not covid though. Horrible. Extremely tired too
