How long are PCR tests taking to come back?

Ds had one yesterday at 10am... we're in Bucks.

Me - 48 hours
Friend one - 24hrs
Friend two - 14hrs
Friend three - 18hrs

All the same testing station. Clearly no rhyme or reason to it.

DD1: 18 hours
DH: 30 hours
All taken at the same time at a drive through site in Yorkshire this week.

Oh no, now I'm worried. I think I'll miss work Xmas meal. Had test today at 10am, need result by 6pm tomorrow. 🤞

All of us had one at 10am yesterday. 3 back at about midday, one back at about 4pm. South-west. So between 26 and 30 hours

Tested 10.30 yesterday. Still not back.

Mine was posted Tuesday first thing, got the result back 2 a.m. Thursday.

DS tested at 9.30 on Monday morning, result came back at 5.30 Tuesday afternoon (south east).

Mine took 2 days.

Test at 4.45pm yesterday. Results 2pm today. West Midlands

Postal test, 48 hours on the dot.

NW - had test 17.45 yesterday and got result (-ve) 13.15 today.

Northwest here. 55 hours - tested at 4pm Monday, results 9pm Wednesday

DH and DD had tests at walk in at 9:30am and results back in eleven hours.

DS and I posted tests back on Tuesday, they were delivered at 4am Wednesday morning and we are still waiting for our results.

Wow, what a variety! I hope all who have tested positive are OK.

We've had 4 between us this week and results between 11-13 hours.

Monday 8am drive in, back at 7pm inconclusive.
Tuesday 8am walk in, back at midnight, inconclusive.
Wednesday 8am walk in, back at 8am Thursday, negative.
Thursday 1pm drive in, still waiting.

I'm Buckinghamshire. I tested positive on 4 lft.

It's back. Negative. 32 hours

I'm at 60 hours and counting, no result yet but I'm 99.9% sure I'm positive.

Partner got tested at the same test centre six hours after me and got his results within 18 hours 🙄
