Ideas for texturally pleasing food after loss of taste

I'm only into day 4 of isolation following a passive PCT, but have already lost my sense of taste.

What are some foods you enjoyed (or at least tolerated) while waiting for your taste to come back?

Grapes, crunchy pears, pineapples. I could vaguely taste things with a strong acidic content, be it vinegar or citric acid. Crunchy sour things were definitely better than chewy starchy things.

Crisps, all the crisps... I have lived off nurishment milkshakes too.
Hang in there, mine has suddenly returned overnight 16 days after positive test. 🤞

Stir fry. I had one practically every day. Crunchy & healthy! I could also taste very sweet things still so I did sweet & sour stir fry sauce and I could get a hint a flavour from it! Plus I love noodles, so that was a comforting thing to eat!

I also ate a lot of biscuits as again, I got a hint of flavour & they made me happy 😂

Go for smoothies, can quickly drink them & great for vitamins as well!

Porridge with pumpkin seeds in.
Soup with crispy croutons.

I'm at the same point of isolation but have found that my taste hasn't completely gone in that I can taste if something is sweet or sour just not the flavour (can't taste savoury/salty at all). As such my new favourite thing is sour fizzy sweets. Have you tried that? Worth a shot. Tesco strawberry lances are the best so far.

Ritter sport cornflake chocolate...
It was soooo satisfying!

All the bland stuff, ready made mash and gravy, marmite pasta, toast and butter.

Couldn't face anything else.

Not exactly food but miso soup

Heinz Tomato soup and buttered toast -smooth and sweet with crunchy and salty

I'm so frustrated with this. We tried stir fry tonight- I had some spicy noodles in so got sone sensation from them at least!

Had some American bubblegum in which is super sweet, but it was so displeasing.

There are so many lovely Christmas things to eat as well Hmm

I gave up and just ate stuff that was in the freezer or larder that needed using up… 10 days did the job nicely! A very lazy way of eating but I didn’t have the energy to do anything else…
