Can I get the booster in my leg?

Just that really, I've just booked my booster but for various reasons I'd prefer to have it in my leg rather than my arm. I can't find any UK guidance re arm/leg but have seen it is authorised in the US for leg. Anybody had any experience of this please?

When we went through vaccinator training it was made clear that whilst delivery into the leg was possible it should be exception rather than rule and for a limited number of clinical reasons. It also wasn't something we were trained in, just made aware of. If someone had walked in and requested that route we knew enough to be able to start the conversation but ultimately would have had to get the lead clinician involved.
Hope that helps.
