Will it get worse than this?

Dp tested positive at the weekend. Started off with a headache and feeling off for one day. Strong positive lft and confirmed by pcr.

The first day he felt rough - headache, chills, tired etc and a slight cough. The second day, cough pretty much gone but a bit snotty - constantly blowing his nose and sneezing. Now day 4 - he feels fine apart from a total loss of smell and taste but he's still hungry despite not being able to taste 🤷‍♀️ Wouldn't even think there was anything wrong really. He's been doing things around the house and gardening etc. Using it like a 10 day holiday from now 😅

I'm hoping this it'll be it for him but can it get worse? He's double jabbed too! Maybe he's just been extremely lucky?

Hoping I won't catch it but we haven't re-elect been isolating from each other.

I'm day 7 at the moment and my symptoms sound similar to your DH- a couple of days were rough but functional now, back to working from home, housework etc. I've isolated from DH and toddler DS and they're negative so far.

Glad you are okay. We haven't managed to fully isolate Dp unfortunately. I've had a non covid virus and feeling poop myself and dp has been pretty fine so he's been cooking etc. Just washing his hands constantly, ventilation etc. I expect we will catch it though!

I'm exactly the same, I tested positive last week. 2 bad days in bed but the rest absolutely fine. I haven't been able to smell or taste but I have morning sickness from pregnancy and not being able to smell or taste is a blessing right now!
