Ds (15) had covid end of august. Dd tested positive last week. Rest of us were negative. Dh tested positive today. I will be going for another pcr test but does Ds have to unless he starts getting symptoms?

He really can’t afford any more time off school, was quite ill with covid and was off for 3 weeks. He’s had one dose of the vaccine.

In Scotland household contacts need to take a PCR to release from isolation if under 18 or double vaccinated

I thought as much, so frustrating as he’s literally just past the 90 days so unlikely to catch it again but going to mean more time off school 😫. He’s only just got caught up with what he missed when he was off.
