When should I get my booster in this situation

I'm double vaccinated, second jab 5 months ago. My DD age 6 has had covid this week. I've tested negative. But will exposure, despite not catching it, have boosted my immunity at all? If so, should I wait until Jan to get my booster or just get it as soon as I can? I think the right thing to do it just go ahead and get my booster asap?

As long as you don’t get covid from your daughter, have the booster when you’re eligible. That’s the official advice.
