Sorry this has probably been posted so many times but i cant keep up with the latest guidelines!
Dh and i have had both vaccine jabs, no boosters yet.
I got a positive lateral flow result this morning, and have mild symptoms.
Dh has no symptoms and a negative lateral flow result.
I am certain that he doesnt have to isolate (i do, of course) but i have family members saying he does need to?
I have a pcr test coming in the post and i get that if it turns out its omnicron that changes things, but does he really need to isolate until my pcr result??

As far as I know, the Jansen vaccine isn’t actually being deployed yet. That was the point I was making.

I’d be amazed if the nhs app is sophisticated enough to know who should get three primary doses to show they weren’t fully vaccinated at two.

No of course not. He should be out and about as normal, potentially spreading covid in the run up to Christmas.
Just ruin some other people’s Christmas, why not?
Some people are so selfish and the government is doing a terrible job of protecting us.

i wouldn't quite put it so bluntly myself, but there is a lot of truth in this. This is how covid spreads like wildfire since the end of summer and since our lovely govt decided that, for some crazy reason, ALL double jabbed people are immune to covid and do not spread it (regardless of when their last vaccination was administered.... two weeks ago or 5 months ago...) . I'd say it is definitely the relaxation of close contact rules which got us into this situation in the first place and not the unvaccinated!

The app isn’t sophisticated enough to know how many doses you require, therefore it asks the question ‘are you fully vaccinated?’

My point being that ‘fully vaccinated’ can be a different number of doses.
You either know how many you require, or can check that with a search.
