My 17 year old daughter had covid in August. The whole house got it (2 adults 6 children) but she was the first to get ill, the most ill and the last to get better.

About 2 weeks after getting better initially she had a pretty bad chest infection - not bad enough to need hospital treatment but she needed antibiotics and was quits breathless and ill.

Since then she seems to be constantly getting colds, runny noses and coughs. When she goes out in the cold you can hear her chest wheezing. She is autistic (although very independent and capable) it can be a little awkward understanding her way of phrasing things sometimes but she describes it as feeling as though there is a of snot in her throat BUT it us dry.

I have mentioned the repeated illness to the gp but it was just brushed off .

Sounds like she could do with a chest x ray OP. Covid can cause lung damage. I'd be asking to speak to another GP and say she's been ill since Aug inc cough...
