Achy arm and swollen glands in armpit were my only side effects.

Brewandhoney · 04/12/2021 19:11

Vaccines have been given for nearly a year now, lots of threads and information about this and what to expect on social media, news and on the leaflet they would have given you, and told you at the centre? Not sure what else you expect to find out!
Some people have had 24hrs of feeling crap. Others have had no symptoms!

Goneback2school · 04/12/2021 19:11

Achy arm was all I got.

Whatdoyawannado · 04/12/2021 19:11

Just tiredness after first one.

Skysblue · 04/12/2021 19:12

Just tired / slightly sore arm

Whatdoyawannado · 04/12/2021 19:12

Oh and extremely painful arm for around 24hrs, didn't sleep a wink the first night as I had it the side I normally sleep on. Not well planned!

Fet2021duejuly2022 · 04/12/2021 19:13

Achy arm, tired. You might feel a bit more flu symptoms with the second jab, such as body aches. Well done for getting your vaccine 🤩👏

specialsauce · 04/12/2021 19:15

Couldnt get off the settee for the whole of the next day. Not ill at all, just totally wiped out. Slept nearly 15 hour. Tired for a couple more days then right as rain.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 04/12/2021 19:21

I'm your age and had Pfizer, had an aching arm both times but no other side effects.

Meowandchoppychops · 04/12/2021 19:26

I am 34, had my booster on Wednesday, I am a frontline healthcare worker. All three were Pfizer. Sore arm for a few days was the worst bit, slight headache and feeling a bit wiped out for a half a day. Achy joints, mainly hands and toes. But that's it each time.

Cookerhood · 04/12/2021 19:26

DS: Nausea & vomiting vaccine 1, nothing vaccine 2
DH: nothing for either
Lots of other people: a whole range of side effects. Original data shows 2nd Pfizer worse than 1st but not sure if that's true for real world use.

mummabubs · 04/12/2021 19:26

I've had three vaccines to date, all Pfizer and I can honestly say no side effects at all apart from a slightly sore arm for 24 hours after my booster jab. Well done for having it OP. :)

Meowandchoppychops · 04/12/2021 19:27

Just to add the second one was the worst for me. Well done for getting it done.

CouldThisReallyBe · 04/12/2021 19:29

Not a thing. I had nothing on 1 and 2 (AZ), had my booster this morning (Moderna) and....nothing.

Iggly · 04/12/2021 19:33

I just had an aching arm after both Pfizer jabs.

wineislife21 · 04/12/2021 19:39

Thanks everyone, looks like hopefully I can just expect a sore arm and some tiredness tomorrow fingers crossed!

The volunteers at the vaccination centre were so encouraging, I genuinely left feeling proud!

Well it must be quite unusual to have someone going for their first jab (assuming you are not 12) so giving you a bit of encouragement to make sure you come back for number 2.

wineislife21 · 04/12/2021 19:43

Funny you say that as they told me they're getting people of all ages in 😊

Scarby9 · 04/12/2021 19:47

A slightly sore arm for most people I I know.

Well done OP! Everyone I know didn't feel to bad after Pfizer x

Lurkerlot · 04/12/2021 19:55

Pfizer here too, aching arm day one, tiredness day two, which lasted 2 days.
