Anyone tested positive recently with a cough

Woke up yesterday with a cough and cold symptoms. It seems pretty chesty but I've booked in for a test today anyway.

My colds don't really tend to manifest as coughs, so I'm a bit concerned. But then I also notice that a lot of people don't present with a cough as a symptom nowadays. It seems to be sore throat, headache,loss of taste and smell, tiredness.

Has anyone tested positive recently (last month or so) and their main symptom has been a cough and nothing else?

My DCs both started with a cough (they never get a cough) which then progressed to a head cold. Took a couple of days after the cough started for their lateral flow tests to turn positive. They were then followed up with positive PCRs.

My DH started with a cough. I developed it on day 4 having started with headache/head cold.
