Did you get a 'must isolate' text with a date? Use that date as your release day (day 11) and count back

I counted it from when I isolated. I felt rough on a Saturday night, did a test on Sunday, but didn’t go out at all before getting test back on Tuesday. Therefore, I was isolating from Sunday, counted 10 days from then.

A sore throat isn’t one of the three main symptoms, so I would go on test date as being 0 day, then day 1 the day after.

Didn’t test and trace work it out with you?

dementedpixie · 04/12/2021 08:26

I'd take it from the test date

I did get a text saying i isolate untill the 10th December, so am i day 3 ?

You count from the day you tested - not the day you got the result...

My DD had a sore throat for 3 days prior to testing & when I spoke to t&t they included that in the symptoms, so she only had to do another 7 days after the test. On the NHS website it says from the symptoms, not the test.
