My DH and I are due to fly to Krakow on 15th December for 4 days for his birthday. Was looking forward to a child free break, exploring the Christmas market. But really not sure what to do now with new variant abs measures.
We have all our family coming to us for Christmas Day (14 people) and now I'm worrying that our PCR test upon return to U.K. might end up positive and then we will haven to isolate over Christmas :(
Or the case numbers rising in U.K. might mean Poland change their travel restrictions and we will have to isolate when we arrive for the duration of our trip or we will have to rush to get back home quickly.
We are double vaccinated and healthy - of it wasn't for our Christmas plans we wouldn't even consider not going.
If we cancel we will lose money. Ryanair won't give a refund but we should be able to move our flights. Money spent on trips we have booked looks lnon-refundable. Hotel payment is due on Thursday so really we need to make a decision by Wednesday.
Struggling to think straight with the doom and gloom! What would you do?!??
Thank you
