Timing of day 2 test

I understand it is 'on or before day 2' for the PCR.

Does this mean we could book a rapid 3hr PCR at our arrival airport for when we land? Then obviously we isolate (driving home) and are clear when (hopefully) negative PCR comes in.

Have I properly understood? It doesn't seem hugely clear.

If you can get a 3hr test I would. We got back last night, tested first this morning and should have resuts tomorrow (quickest test I could book from abroad). It's stressful as DH is supposed to be working on Sunday

The 3 hour one at the airport is the quickest option, but expensive, so depends on what you have on and what you can afford.

Yes, you have understood correctly. Basically the more you are able to pay, the quicker you get out of isolation
