Are people still getting a booster if got a cold?

DS has Covid. I then developed a cold. (Tests including PCR all negative.)
I've got booster booked for Saturday. I think I'll still probably have a few lingering cold symptoms by then.
Google suggests it's fine to go ahead but just wondered if anyone else has had booster with a cold and if it's affected side effects. Thanks

I had my booster on Tuesday whilst suffering a cold and cough, so far only a sore armpit but nowhere near as bad as the 2nd jab.

I had mine yesterday with a cold, arm is really sore, worse that first two. I've had an awful night sleep but don't know whether my cold or the jab

Your problem may be that you are a close contact with someone who has covid, as this is one of the first questions asked before you even get inside vaccine centre. Despite you having a negative PCR, they may suggest you come back another time.

I was never asked that @Mindymomo ! My son had covid when my booster was booked, I'd tested negative on 7 lfts and a pcr by the appt, as had all remaining members of the household. Nobody asked about contact at all.

That's interesting Re close contact. His isolation actually ends that day so hopefully that ok.
