DH has had symptoms (cough and temp) since Mon. PCR done on Tues came back negative. Fully vaccinated. Symptoms worsening today including wheezing.
Does he need to isolate until symptoms are gone and should he get another PCR?
I know there are other illnesses than covid, and he could well have a run of the mill chest infection etc but I'm CEV and on certain meds that I should stop if I get covid, so really need to be sure it isn't that
Thanks

Are you LFT -ing as well, all negative? i think it would be unusual for PCR to have false negative if symptomatic, although not impossible. Stay isolated and test again. Hope he’s ok

Thank you. Yes also getting negative LFT but don't put much store in them as DC got negative LFT and positive PCR a few months ago.
