Vaccines and tinnitus and the booster.

I have read through other threads on this. But. I wanted to know if you have had problems with tinnitus and the vaccine wether you were going to get the booster.

My tinnitus has got worse since I had it. According to my doctor this is something others have found. It is currently at a level that I can cope with. But if it gets louder that would be devastating.

I am now due the booster. And the new variant is worrying me. But I really don’t know what to do. Have others got the booster or will get the booster if you’re got worse?

The vaccines & booster haven’t affected my tinnitus that I’ve noticed.

It has got louder but that’s down to taking a medication more often that can affect tinnitus, lots of them can.

I developed tinnitus a few weeks after the 1st and 2nd vaccines (Pfizer). It gradually worsened and then promptly stopped of it's own accord.

I had my booster eight weeks ago (also Pfizer) but it hasn't happened this time.

I can understand your concerns. I didn't realise just how debilitating it could be.

I've had two AZ and neither have made any difference to my moderate hearing loss (I'm a bilateral hearing air wearer) or my tinnitus. I'm getting the booster as soon as I am able

I have tinnitus but will have the booster.

Covid has also caused ear related issues. There has been a spike in sudden onset hearing loss and tinnitus through contracting covid. I believe that some people are more likely to react to covid and could also react to vaccination too, But reaction outcomes through vaccine do tent to be less servere than reaction outcomes from infection.
But ultimately, its your decision to weigh up.
Good lick what ever you decide

I had it done over Xmas. And nothing has changed with ears. No worse no less. So I’m happy I did it.
