Always faint positive

Is any one else having this?

Since the new tests came out when ever I test I always have a faint positive. Sometimes darker than others but always faint.

At first this was just happening to me & PCR tests would always be negative but now occasionally happening with both DDs and again PCRs are negative.

I do wonder if some people have something in them that gives a faint positive.

Was talking to family member at the weekend who has to do LFTs every Monday for her job. She has been doing this for months. Both with the nose and throat swabs and the newer nose only swabs she keeps getting a faint line on LFT only to test negative with a PCR. She has lost count of how many PCRs she has had. She has lost so much time at work because of course every time she gets a faint line on a LFT she cannot go into work until the negative PCR result comes back. She has never had any syptoms.

@ConcernedAuntie I always get them but strange DDs are now too. Going to do us all another PCR as we are on our third week with new colds/tonsillitis but I expect negative like normal

I've stopped using them because I was getting false positives, all pcrs were negative.

This also happens to me, since I started using the flow flex test I test a faint positive... absolute nightmare at the minute as I'm a close contact so testing more often and they are all positive!! 2 negative PCRs this week! I would love to know what causes this?!
