Anyone with a university student abroad?

Anyone here with a student child doing there year abroad from uni and due home At Christmas? Mine has changed plans to come home earlier because of the new variant but just want him home now.

My friend’s DD is in southern Germany. My friend would like her to speak to her mentor about returning home before the end of term just in case. The DD is nervous about then being stuck here in January and unable to get back to complete the year.

My DD is studying abroad in France. Not due home until the middle of December. I’m beginning to worry but she’s calmer about it all. We’ll just have to see how things go over the next couple of weeks…fingers crossed all of our DCs will be able to be home for Christmas

Yes will be glad when they are home and can relax - it’s the unknown again and uncertainty around travel.
