Mine was paused during lockdowns. Once open gain they started payments back up.

seb342 · 27/11/2021 08:38

Mine was paused as well. Join now before the new year rush.

They automatically stopped our DD's when the gym was shut. It's a local authority gym.

dementedpixie · 27/11/2021 08:39

Also paused during lockdown and restarted when we opened up. They also did online classes while the gyms were closed

thewhatsit · 27/11/2021 08:41

They were suspended, no payments. You can ask them anyway when you enquire to put your mind at ease?

Lots of people have joined this year since April. You wonder if the post lockdown surge will be like when everyone joins in January Grin

although i am not sure lockdown will happen but worried about the transmission in the gym

I feel safe at the gym as people keep apart. People wipe down the machines. Maybe go at a quieter time.

My subscription was paused and it was up to me when I wanted to restart it iirc.

You could ask the gym when the least busy times are and go then?

Thewiseoneincognito · 27/11/2021 12:46

Funny you ask this question because I was coming around to the idea of perhaps rejoining my old gym again too. Now however, I’m going to wait until the new year.

I’d advise you to hold off for now too.

thanks
they had a black friday deal - the decision needs to be made this weekend.
and i would need to go after 6 pm due to work, apart from weekends.

Our PT did live online classes and lent us weights to use. It was mint.

dementedpixie · 27/11/2021 18:57

I bought weights in 1st lockdown and now they're cluttering up my rooms. I go to classes 4 days a week

If you're worried don't join.

On pause and did not have to pay for any months where the club was closed at all.

Gave notice before they opened up and allowed people to cancel without giving any notice. The whole thing was very well done.

I will not mind having to wear a mask going through recetion again if it means they can remain open. All though I am not entirely sure what the point of this token measure is.
