8 year old 11 days post covid and still struggling with fatigue

Wonder if anyone can help or had similar experiences.
My 8 year old got covid last week and has been in isolation 10 days now, last day tomorrow! But fatigue is really concerning me now. He is an incredibly fit, never sits still young man who plays football twice a week but this has wiped him out. 20mins of exercise and he can barely get off the sofa.
Please tell me this passes as I'm so worried about long covid for him!

11 days isn't long in Covid terms. It does take a while to get over it. Let him build it up slowly but surely.

Mine has had it 2 weeks temp of 38/39 she’s incredibly fit and active and had the Pfizer - she’s been assessed as has lot a stone and a half, oxygen levels good, but pulse and temp high - been ordered to have another week off school

Oh no... i hope your daughter feels better soon.

My son didn't really have any symptoms other than a slight headache so this fatigue has come as a bit of a shock. Hoping in time he will build his strength back up, it also may be due to lack of proper exercise being stuck in!

I know 10 days isn't long, i was just hoping for some other's experiences so ease my worry a little. I do have quite bad health anxiety especially when it comes to my little ones 🙃
