I'm a bit unsure what to do.

DS 11 years old has been identified as close contact at school. School have asked us to get a PCR.

Track & Trace told us on the final call no lft for 90 days & seek PCR only with symptoms

We had it 29th Oct onwards.

Contact emails are auto generated & they probably don't know DS had it as it was in 2 week half term.

Should he get one?

No. Call school & explain. You should not get him a PCR if he has no symptoms.

LefttoherownDevizes · 26/11/2021 14:12

Say you can't get him one as he won't meet the criteria due to being within 90 days. There's not much else they can do tbh

Whataday21 · 26/11/2021 14:16

No.

Theunamedcat · 26/11/2021 14:18

You can't until your 90 days are up

newyearsresolurion · 26/11/2021 14:18

No he could test positive obviously no need to do test. The school will understand

Thank you all for the quick clarification. I will call & explain now i am sure I have understood correctly, that we can only test with symptoms.
