Can anyone else see that?

We will be booking a PCR and it won't be a surprise (very close contact) but no one else in the house can see it other than me!

It is very faint and only really seen if light behind

Line eyes please

Yes I can see something Confused

sofakingcool · 25/11/2021 15:25

Oh I'm pleased it isn't just me!

DH wondered if there is a line where the red line appears (if you know what I mean?!) and you can see it if you hold it up at the light. Definitely nothing to see if it's laid down on the table.
He can't see it even when held up though - his vision isn't as good as mine

Mine began like this got darker each test I did. My PCR negative so who knows, I'm double jabbed and had no symptoms.

Wow negative PCR after many positive LFT?!

I'm the positive case in the house, my LFT looked like someone had used a sharpie pen on it - it was incredibly strong - which I think is throwing DH. DS had it a while ago and his LFT was strong too.

DH is listening to me though and isolating until his PCR result, he just doesn't believe I can see anything HmmGrin

Yes.

This is how mine started. Do another tomorrow.

InTheLabyrinth · 25/11/2021 15:44

Yep, line there.
The negatives dont have a hint of a shadow on them.

jano69 · 25/11/2021 16:53

I can see the line too.

yikerspipers · 25/11/2021 17:00

Mine started like that. Positive PCR.

Cacee3029 · 25/11/2021 17:16

Very faint but yeah a slight line. Someone I know was a close contact recently. No symptoms whatsoever, Did a pcr which was negative, a few days down the line decided to do a lft and it was a strong positive despite having no symptoms. Didn't get any symptoms throughout her whole isolation period either. Her first pcr was negative, she wouldn't have known if didn't do the lft as a precaution days after the pcr.

my8thMNusername · 25/11/2021 17:46

I'm waiting on a second pcr result this week.

Monday morn did a test as my DD was sneezing. I'd had a swig of milk just before and a faint line appeared (stronger than OP pic). Then did another 2 (!) LFTs which were clear. DH and DD's also clear but regardless we all went to drive through and all 3 had negative results on the Tuesday.

As family help with childcare, I couldn't rest and did 2 more LFTs on weds which were neg. first thing this morning I did another - I'd used mouthwash just before - and a definite but faint line. So me and DD have gone for PCR again. I'm going mad with waiting and health anxiety so have done another LFT on her (clear) and DH (clear) and 2 of mine completely clear but another had the faintest of lines after 30 mins.

I have NO idea what's going on - LFTs are completely inconsistent so we are just waiting for second PCR now. That said I started feeling a bit crap on Tuesday night and still feel crap now.

sofakingcool · 25/11/2021 20:15

He's done another test tonight and def negative, but still going for his PCR as he's a close contact.

I've had my negative PCR (as has my DD) this morning. I basically got loads of false positives (4!) on LFTs having never experienced that before. A LFT this morning shows no hint of a line.

No faith in LFTs anymore!

I forgot to add I was struggling to understand where I could have picked it up from anyway
