Should I be sending DS to school?

DS 5. Started with snottiness Saturday so PCRed, negative. He now has a slight snot cough so have LFTed Tues, weds and now today.

Should I be PCRing him again?

I wouldn't. Most likely it's just a bog standard cold.

Are the LFT negative? If he has a cough which is new then yes, it’s a new symptom, so should get a PCR test.

LFTs are all negative. The cough has been there since he started with the snot, it's standard for him but it's definitely picked up slightly.

Nope I wouldn't. You did a pcr test at start of cold. Yes he's developed a cough but cough is very normal at the tail end of a cold. If you hadn't already done a pcr then absolutely get one but in this case, no I wouldn't.

When Ds gets a cold I test him with just the snotty nose ASAP because I know in a day or two he'll be coughing non stop coughing.
