Covid booster before 24 weeks from last AZ?

Has anyone else had their Covid booster slightly earlier than 24 weeks post second AZ?

There are loads of appointments available to book online 22 weeks onwards after the second vaccine, would it be refused if you showed up for it (due to being unavailable at 24 weeks)?

I have read that immunity runs out and they're considering changing the gap to 20 weeks, is there any indication when a decision would be made?

I had my booster on Friday booked on nhs website. The date offered was 3 days before the six months. They did give it to me and said they were allowed up to a week before, but I had to read something on their screen to say I was getting the booster before the recommended 6 months date.

Place marking as I really hope they drop the gap to 20 weeks... my booster is currently due on Christmas Eve but as I felt rotten after the first two jabs I want to get it out of the way before then!

There are so many threads on this. The answer is yes you can, but it will depend on the clinical lead at the vaccination centre.

Thank you, that's helpful to know they may very well do it. Hopefully there will be more news soon for those with 2 AZ approaching 6 months.

That would be earlier than 168 days?

I just had the Pfizer booster 170 days after my second AZ and I thought that was unusually lucky/early. I'm 43 and group 6 CV.
