Travelling to France with a teenager

My daughter has had covid (last December) and has also had one vaccine. Does this mean she is fully vaccinated in the french eyes? I saw this in their website but doesn’t say if there is a time limit on when the child last had covid. She’s also entitled to a second jab so she could have that as well before we go.

Also I can’t work out how we get the pass sanitaire - I’ve downloaded the app (I think!) but it’s talking about scanning a qr code from the vaccine certificate!

If there’s anyone that can help I’d appreciate it.

Hi OP, I was just about to post a similar thread. I’m traveling to France this week, and really keen to hear from anyone who’s been recently on the Eurostar - how quick it is to get through passport control, what exactly they ask to see.
Is the pass sanitaire the sworn statement?
How do you get the app?

Hello I went to France in October with mine. Its two vaccinations as far as I know.
You also need to fill out and print a declaration from the Govt in France. This is presented at arrivals IF requested so have it done.
Get the EU covid pass app or the French Pass Sanitaire App and upload your vaccine cert digitally to this as you will need it most places. No masks in restaurants once you are allowed in but you must have the App & Vax Cert. If kids are under 12 they are expempt but you must have proof of age so a passport is useful.

Enjoy!

No the pass sanitaire is the app and the sworn statement is downloaded printed and signed on the date of travel.

You need 2 jabs. I've got my 17 year old booked in this week!! Otherwise you need a pcr 24 hours before you leave the uk. You need the pass to go in restaurants. You need this every 72 hours. But I think you can just go into a pharmacy for this and it's about 20 euros. I had looked into it all but now DS will be double jabbed so much easier.

No, even in France she wouldn't as you need to have had COVID in the last 6 months plus one vaccination. So to enter the country and to get a pass sanitaire she needs to test every 72 hours if PCR or 24 hrs with antigene test, which you can get outside many pharmacies.

Even if she gets a second dose I believe there are some problems in getting a certificate from the UK for under 16s though as the NHS doesn't give out a QR code.

The sworn statement is different - it is just a form you have to sign (you can download and print it out) promising you haven't been in contact with a confimed positive case in the last two weeks. They don't systematically check it, but it might be problematic if they ask and you don't have it.
