Against hospitalisation / death / Infection?

I read 85 percent protection against death/ hospitalisation today. Does anyone have any insight ?

What’s annoying me with the term ‘effectiveness’ is what does that mean? Chances of catching it or chances of severe illness/death? Cos it seems to be chances of catching it which is far less concerning than chances of becoming seriously ill 🤷🏼‍♀️ Yet it’s being spun that after 6 months, that’s it, zero protection as if you’ve never been vaccinated. Which is categorically not true.

I think boosters are needed but they are yet again trying to terrify everyone into it Confused

Yes I completely agree. They don't talk about how effective it is at preventing death and hospitalisation that much, or I am missing it maybe. But according to what the other poster posted, it sounds like it's still pretty effective at preventing death and hospitalisation.
