Booking in booster and 12 year old

I'm eligible for my booster next week - I my 40s, second jab was end of May. My DD also turns 12 next week. Can't seem to book either of us in for vaccinations in advance though, which is frustrating. Do I have to wait until we've hit the actual dates to be able to book it in?

I think they're opening it up to 40+ from Monday.

I had to go via the GPs receptionist to get my 12yo booked in. Over 40s goes live from Monday
