Anyone know how to chase result of PCR test?

Just that really! Cant find any phone number etc online. My employer wants me to chase up results, so I said I'd do my best.

When did you take the test?

I have just chased my daughter's results - we have always got previous back within 24 hours and this is now over.
They said not to call back until 72 hours after - we are refreshing the emails non-stop...

I've had to wait up to 40 hours previously, hence me asking.

Unfortunately I forgot to keep a note or take pic of the barcode before sending the test off... Just called 199 and was told they can't help within this. Any way of retrieving the bar code?

The bar code will be on the instruction booklet if you did a home test. You got it hanging round?

Got the instruction booklet but can't find any barcode in it? Where would it be?

I sent some home tests back on Monday and still don't have results (previously had them within 48 hours).

There's another thread going where a few people are saying similar.

Sorry cross post, there should be a sticker on the front of the booklet. There's a box that says "test kit barcode".

If it's a home test, you can look through your browser history to find when you registered it online. I did that because I forgot to make a note of the Royal Mail tracking number - just went back and found the page where I entered it in my history.

So annoyed with myself... deleting browsing history on that evening as had been Christmas shopping online and didn't want husband to see what I'd ordered! Kicking myself now though x

I also sent a home test back on monday and still waiting for results. I kept tracking number so can see it arrived at lab. Called 119 and they said the test must of been lost! Now have to go to a test site but symptoms have been around 5 days and hoping its not to late to read on PCR now.

No it won’t, that’s just an order number.

I did drive through pcr on Monday morning, the result was emailed to me
11.30pm on Tuesday. I was hoping for quicker too, to be back at work.
Good luck, hope your result comes back soon. ( mine was negative despite a positive Lateral flow test)
